Carrot halwa - microwave recipe

Ingredients:
2 cups freshly grated carrot
1/4 to 1/2 cup skim milk powder
1 cup sugar
1/4 tea spoon ground cardamom
1/4 cup thickened cream
Raisins, fried chopped walnuts and slivered almonds for garnishing

Preparation:
Place the freshly grated carrot in a microwave safe bowl and cook it on high for 7-8 minutes.
Remove it from the microwave and add milk powder, sugar, thickened cream and cardamom powder. Return to the microwave and cook on high for another 7-8 minutes.
Remove from the microwave and either serve it hot or cold after garnishing it with raisins, walnuts and almonds.
Can also be set in the fridge for real “Halwa” consistency.
